Yes but she's not Hiro's mate in the Anime just because it's only Monster and Hōgen Arc. Looking at the Manga in the same Arcs, they arent mates there too. It's first confirmed that they are mates in the Monkey Arc. So there is no need to write down they are only mates in the Manga.
