Futago Pass are the mountains inside Ohu. Gajou, an old stronghold, was built in Futago Pass by the monster bear Akakabuto in Ginga Nagareboshi Gin.
He controlled Futago Pass for 5 years. Riki, Gin and the other Ohu Soldiers defeated the giant bear to take back their territory. As he was dying, Riki handed over his leadership of the mountains to his son, and afterward, Futago Pass belonged to Gin.
In Ginga Densetsu Weed, a new threat invades the Dogs' Paradise. The monster, Kaibutsu, a giant dog who killed every man or dog he encountered, ran into the mountains and started living there. After a long struggle, he was defeated by Weed and the other Ohu soldiers. Not too long after his defeat, however, Hougen, a Great Dane from the Southern Alps, captured the travelling Gin and John and attempted to invade the Dogs' Paradise as well.
Just like in GNG's Akakabuto arc, the final battle in GDW occurs in Futago Pass.
In Ginga Densetsu Weed: Orion, Futago Pass is prone to earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
