Cross and Ben[]
.At first, Ben was Cross' closest friend caring greatly for him and soon the two become lovers having children of their own. In her old age she continues to watch over her mate sometimes calming Ben down when he gets hot tempered. Greatly accepts his passing informing Ken and George.

Cross and Gin[]
At first, Cross told Gin to return to his owner shortly before their departure Cross knew he'd return after saying goodbye to his owner. During their adventure they become close friends and after Gin returns from defeating the wolves Cross comments that Gin is starting to look like his father Riki. She continues to constantly support Gin even in her old age.

At first, she was extremely trustful and loyal to her owner but Cross saw him leave her behind after a bear attack but Cross lost trust in humans.
Cross and Daisuke[]
Unlike her owner, with Daisuke being Gin's former owner Cross sees him as a good human telling Gin to go back to him when they first met. As the two grew older Cross like Gin quickly understood that Daisuke was here to help them every time when they needed him taking each of his arrivals as a blessing. During the start of the war with Monsoon Cross saw that her son George was fatality injured and took relief in Daisuke and Hidetoshi's arrival trusting that they'll save her son and Weed.
When she escaped with Sunny and Maru to Daisuke's house she spoke highly of him to the pups.
