Pet Dogs

Pet dogs refer to those dogs which were kept by humans. Some of the dogs stay with the owners, and others were former pet dogs (mostly those which were abandoned or had run away from home). While most pet dogs are mainly kept as family dogs or guard dogs, most of the pet dogs are used as hunting dogs and fighting dogs. Those stray or wild dogs which have collars are the likely evidence of being kept as pets before.

They appear in many manga - Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, Ginga Densetsu Weed, Shiroi Senshi Yamato, Ginga Densetsu Riki, Lassie (manga), Ginga No Inutachi, Byakuren No Fangu, WEED Gaiden and Shin Gaiden.
