While Hidetoshi Sekiguchi was hunting for Akakabuto, he came across a bear that he thought was him. Hidetoshi commanded John to confuse him then attack as the bear lunged forward. Hidetoshi shot the bear in the head, killing him instantly. Hidetoshi believed he had got his revenge for what Akakabuto had done. Unfortunately, that bear was just one of Akakabuto's offspring. Seeing that the bear wasn’t Akakabuto, as he didn’t have the scarred eye, Hidetoshi was unable to get his revenge for what trouble Akakabuto had done.
